Overnight Admin

For plumbers, electricians, gardeners and other small trade businesses

Wake up. Your paperwork's already done.

I set up automations that do your quoting, invoicing, chasing and books — and I run them for you. You deal with one person, and most of the work lands overnight. No software for you to learn — I run it.

Free, 30 minutes, no card details, no obligation.

How the night works

You knock off. The paperwork doesn't.

Once you're home, the automations pick up routine quoting, invoicing and chasing, on rules you've approved — that's not a slogan, it's how I build it to run. Anything unusual waits in a morning queue for me to check.

The Sunday-night pile

You didn't get into the trade to do paperwork at the kitchen table.

Most UK trades run admin the same way — late, at home, after a full day on the tools.

Around 11 hours a week — that's what UK trades spend on admin, most of it in the evenings and at weekends.

81% are chasing a late payment right now — owed an average of £6,210 across around seven invoices.

What I take off your plate

Six jobs, off your plate.

Invoices sent, late payments chased

Once it's set up, I send your invoice the day the job's done, and chase anyone who's late — so you're not the one sending the awkward text.

Quotes drawn up and sent

Send me the job details and I turn them into a quote — I aim to get it to the customer the same day.

Missed calls and enquiries followed up

When you can't get to the phone, I follow up the same day (this one doesn't wait for overnight), so fewer enquiries slip to whoever answered first.

Receipts logged, books tidy for your accountant

Receipts get logged and sorted as they come in, so your accountant gets clean books, not a shoebox at year-end.

VAT and CIS returns prepped

Your VAT return — and CIS if you're in construction — is ready well before the deadline, not scrambled together the night before.

Certificates and compliance tracked

Gas Safe, PAT testing, insurance renewals and the rest — tracked and chased, with a heads-up well before anything's due to lapse.

How it works

One call to start. Then it just runs.

  1. Brief

A 30-minute call. You tell me what's eating your evenings — quoting, invoicing, chasing, the books, whatever it is.

  2. Build

In the first week, I set up the automations, plugged into how you already run things.

  3. Run

Routine quotes, invoices and chasing go out overnight, on rules you've approved. Anything unusual waits in a morning queue for me to check. You get a short morning summary.

  4. Steer

Two short calls a week at first, to check it's working the way you want. After that, it just runs.

Fixed price, agreed on the call before any work starts. No lock-in, no monthly software fees to learn. Works alongside Xero or QuickBooks and however you already invoice.

Where this is at

Early days — and that works in your favour.

Honest status

This is a new service. My first engagements are running now. Being early works in your favour: the price stays low, you get more of my attention, and there's no lock-in — if it's not working, you stop.

Who you're dealing with

One person. Not a call centre.

It's one person — me. I build the automations that do your quoting, invoicing and chasing, and I run them. If something needs a human decision, you get me, not a ticket number.

I check everything the automations produce before it reaches you or your customers. Nothing unusual goes out unchecked.

Questions

Before you book a call.

Do I need to be techy?

No. You don't need to learn any software. You tell me what you need on a call, in plain English. I handle the setup — you carry on working the way you always have.

Is this AI — is my stuff safe?

Some of it runs through a third-party AI service to help draft and read paperwork — that's how these tools work. I don't send anything beyond what the job needs. A person — me — reads anything unusual before it reaches a customer or your accountant.

What does it cost?

There's no set price on this page, because every trade's admin looks different. On the call, I work out what needs doing and agree a fixed price before any work starts — so you know the number before you commit.

Will I have to change how I work?

Mostly not. I fit the automations around how you already quote, invoice and keep records. You won't need to learn a new system or move your job diary somewhere new.

What if it doesn't fit my trade?

Tell me on the call. If your admin doesn't fit what I do, I'll say so, rather than take your money for something that won't help.

What happens if I stop?

You can stop at any time. There's no lock-in and no contract tying you in beyond the current month.

Why not just get a £30-a-month app?

Apps like Jobber or Powered Now are good software — but you still run them yourself. This is the admin done for you, not another app to learn. If you enjoy running an app, get the app. If you want it off your plate entirely, that's me. No subscription to learn or babysit.

What about my accountant or bookkeeper?

They keep doing what they do — tax, year-end. I make sure what reaches them is tidy, and I cover the day-to-day admin they were never doing anyway: quoting, chasing, filing.

What if you're ill or on holiday?

I plan around it — you'd know in advance. The automations keep running for routine items, and anything unusual waits for me — nothing fires off unattended.
